Tyco has gone through major changes over the pass years and Donal Sullivan the MD  in Cork will share with us just how Tyco has ‘re invented’  itself, he will focus on Corporate structures beyond manufacturing and provide an insight into FCPA – (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act)

Graduate of UL, Donal started his career with Apple in Cork as an Engineer, he moved to Dovatron, which was subsequently acquired by Flextronics International. Donal spent the next 12 years managing large customers of Flextronics and in 2004 joined Tyco as Managing Director, he became Tyco Global Compliance Leader, for Anti-bribery/Corruption function, in 2010.

Paul Sweetman, Director, ICT Ireland

ICT Ireland is the leading representative body for the technology sector in Ireland and is affiliated to the Irish Business and Employers Confederation (IBEC) The chairman of the CEIA sits on the ICT Ireland governing council. We are delighted to welcome Paul Sweetman, director of the group to talk with us on how ICT Ireland influences policy, improves markets & supply chains and helps its members grow their businesses.

Paul is Director of IBEC’s technology sectors: ICT Ireland and the Irish Software Association. These groups work on the key competitiveness issues for both the indigenous and multinational technology sectors, ensuring Ireland is a prime location for growth and development of technology companies. Paul’s previous briefs in IBEC have included managing IBEC’s Transport and Public Private Partnership Unit and Environment Policy Executive. Paul has also worked as an engineer in the US and Northern Ireland. Paul holds a bachelors and masters degree in engineering.
